About the Owner...

My journey of creating natural skincare products started 15 years ago. It began when I went “Natural” with my hair in 2005. That’s when I really took notice of ingredient labels of skin care products.  To my dismay, they were loaded with ingredients that I could not pronounce that were full of chemicals. I researched these ingredients and discovered how harmful they could be to the skin and body. I decided to explore natural ingredients and make my own skin care products. So for years I mixed and blended natural ingredients to perfect recipes for whipped body butter, body scrubs, and toners. I would give them to family, friends and sorority sisters for gifts. They would ask me to make more for them. The demand got so great it was hard to keep up with the orders.  With some soul searching and a lot of encouragement I decided to go for it and launch Divine Nourishment Natural Skin Care™.

However, I wanted to become more educated about skin. After 22 years of practicing law, decided to follow this passion and enrolled at Beaver Beauty Academy in the field of Esthetics. I also discovered a love for performing facials, back and body treatments, and everything skin related. More importantly the academy exponentially enhanced my understanding of the science of skin and skin care. I feel very proud I am giving my customers the BEST quality natural skincare products with this new wealth of knowledge.
